WHY THROTTLE TRIBE?
Throttle Tribe started with a simple observation. Our founder saw thriving motorcycle communities throughout the UK but comparatively little visibility of Indian riders riding together. There were riders out there — but they weren’t connected.

Our founder, Rohit Sinha, saw thriving motorcycle communities throughout the UK but comparatively little visibility and representation of Indian riders riding together.
There were riders out there — but they weren’t connected.
Throttle Tribe was created to bring them together.
What started as an idea has become a growing community of riders connected by motorcycles, friendship, adventure and Indian roots.
It doesn’t matter whether you ride a cruiser, superbike, adventure bike, sports tourer, classic or something completely different.

How we ride together, and how we look after each other online.
GROUP RIDING RULES
1Ride Leader and Tail-End Charlie
- The Ride Leader will always remain at the front.
- Tail-End Charlie (TEC) will always remain the last rider.
- Both will be introduced during the ride briefing.
2Second Man Drop-Off System
- At every turn, junction or roundabout, the rider directly behind the Ride Leader must stop at a safe and clearly visible position and indicate the correct direction.
- The marker must remain there until Tail-End Charlie arrives.
- Once TEC arrives, the marker should safely rejoin the group just ahead of TEC.
- If the second rider misses a junction, the next rider must mark it.
- If you are unsure, always mark the junction.
- If there is no marker at a junction, continue straight.
3Riding Formation
- Maintain a safe following distance and use a staggered formation wherever appropriate.
- Do not overtake the Ride Leader.
- Do not ride behind Tail-End Charlie.
- Avoid unnecessary overtaking within the group.
4Ride Your Own Ride
- Never ride beyond your ability or take risks to catch up.
- There is no need to follow the rider ahead closely—the marking system will guide everyone.
- Always obey UK traffic laws, speed limits and the Highway Code.

Throttle Tribe – Social Media & Content Guidelines
Throttle Tribe is proud to have talented content creators and social media influencers within our group, and we fully encourage you to create, share, and grow amazing content showcasing our rides, events, and bikes.
At the same time, it’s important that we all act responsibly and follow a few key group principles:
- Always take consent from individuals before posting group photos, ride photos, or close-ups involving people or their bikes
- Bike photos are absolutely welcome, but registration plates must be blurred before publishing on any social media platform.
- Avoid posting identifiable details without permission, especially when someone has clearly expressed, they don’t want to be on social media.
This is also a shared responsibility. If you do not wish to be featured on social media, or want your bike/details kept private, it is equally important for individual members to proactively inform content creators or influencers at the time of rides or events.
This isn’t about restricting creativity — it’s about respect, safety, and trust. With the rise in bike-related crimes, exposing registration numbers online can put fellow riders at unnecessary risk.
We support our creators, we value your work, and we want to keep enabling great content — but always within the boundaries of group rules and mutual respect.
Remember, Throttle Tribe’s motto “No Man Left Behind” doesn’t apply only on the road — it also applies off the road, online, and in how we look out for one another.

Throttle Tribe UK (“Throttle Tribe”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of our members, prospective members, event participants and website visitors.
Throttle Tribe is a UK-based motorcycle riders’ community bringing together riders from India living across the United Kingdom. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information when you interact with our website, participate in our rides or events, apply to join the community, contact us, or interact with our online services.

1. Information We May Collect
Depending on how you interact with Throttle Tribe, we may collect information including your name, email address, mobile number, town or city, motorcycle make/model and engine capacity, riding experience, licence information, social media username, profile or motorcycle photographs, membership information and communications you send to us.
When you register for a ride or event, we may also record your attendance, event registration information and information reasonably necessary to organise and safely administer the activity.
If you voluntarily provide an emergency contact, we may hold their name and contact details for use in an emergency. Please ensure that the person is aware that you have provided their details to us.
Our website may also collect technical information such as IP address, browser/device information and cookie or analytics information, depending on the technologies enabled on the website.
2. How We Use Your Information
We may use personal information to administer Throttle Tribe membership; review membership requests; communicate with members; organise rides, tours, meetings and events; process RSVPs; provide event updates or cancellations; respond to enquiries; manage our website and community; maintain appropriate records; improve our activities; and help maintain the safety and security of members and events.
Where appropriate, we may also use photographs and videos from Throttle Tribe activities to promote the community through our website and social-media channels.
3. Our Lawful Basis for Processing
Depending on the circumstances, we may process personal information because you have given us consent, because processing is necessary for arrangements you have requested, because we have a legitimate interest in administering and operating the Throttle Tribe community and its activities, or because we are required to comply with a legal obligation.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not make processing carried out before withdrawal unlawful.
The appropriate lawful basis is determined for each actual use of personal information rather than assuming that one basis applies to everything, in line with ICO guidance.
4. Photographs and Videos
Throttle Tribe rides, meetings and events may be photographed or recorded.
Images or videos may appear on the Throttle Tribe website and our social-media channels, including Instagram and Facebook, or in material promoting the community and its activities.
Where consent is required for a particular use, we will seek it appropriately. If you have concerns about an identifiable photograph or video of you published by Throttle Tribe, contact throttletribe.uk@gmail.com, and we will consider your request.
5. Social Media
Throttle Tribe maintains social-media accounts to communicate with members and showcase community activities: Instagram and Facebook.
When you interact with Throttle Tribe through a third-party social-media platform, that platform may process information under its own privacy terms and policies.
6. Sharing Your Information
Throttle Tribe does not sell members’ personal information.
We may share limited information where reasonably necessary with website hosting and technology providers, event or service providers, authorised Throttle Tribe administrators, or other organisations helping us deliver an activity.
We may also disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect someone’s safety, rights or property.
Member contact information, emergency contact details and other private information will not normally be displayed publicly on the Throttle Tribe website.
7. Emergency Contact Information
If members voluntarily provide emergency contact information, we will use it primarily for emergency or safety purposes connected with Throttle Tribe activities.
Access should be restricted to those who reasonably require the information, such as authorised organisers or ride leaders.
8. How Long We Keep Information
We will keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet applicable legal, administrative, safety or record-keeping requirements.
When information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it.
ICO guidance requires a privacy notice to state either the retention period or the criteria used to determine it.
9. Cookies and Website Analytics
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies necessary for website functionality, security and user experience.
If we use analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies, visitors will be provided with appropriate information and choices where required.
The ICO states that visitors should be informed about cookies and that non-essential cookies generally require agreement before use.
10. Keeping Your Information Secure
We take reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or misuse.
However, no internet-based service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Some website, email, cloud or social-media providers used by Throttle Tribe may process information outside the UK.
Where personal information is transferred internationally and data-protection law requires safeguards, we will take appropriate steps to ensure the transfer is protected.

Depending on the circumstances and the lawful basis for processing, UK data-protection law may give you rights including access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to certain processing, data portability and withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent.

If family events involving children are organised, we will take particular care regarding children’s personal information, photographs and videos.
16. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to external websites, mapping services, social-media platforms and other third-party services.
Throttle Tribe is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third-party websites. Visitors should review the privacy information provided by those services.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, activities, technologies or legal obligations change.
The latest version will be published on the Throttle Tribe website with the date it was last updated.
The ICO recommends reviewing privacy information regularly and updating people when new uses of their information are introduced.

Throttle Tribe UK (“Throttle Tribe”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a social motorcycle riding community. Our rides, tours, meet-ups and events are organised primarily to bring riders together to enjoy motorcycling, friendship and shared experiences.
Motorcycling involves inherent risks. By participating in a Throttle Tribe ride or event, each rider acknowledges and accepts that they are responsible for their own safety, motorcycle, riding decisions and conduct.
1. Ride at Your Own Risk
Participation in any Throttle Tribe ride, tour, meet-up or event is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk.
Each rider remains responsible for assessing whether they are physically capable, appropriately experienced and sufficiently confident to participate in a particular ride.
Throttle Tribe does not guarantee that any ride, route or event will be free from hazards, accidents, delays, breakdowns, adverse weather, road closures or other risks.
2. Rider Responsibility
Every rider participating in a Throttle Tribe ride is responsible for ensuring that:
- They hold the appropriate and valid driving licence for the motorcycle being ridden.
- Their motorcycle is legally permitted to be used on UK public roads.
- Their motorcycle has valid insurance, MOT and vehicle tax where required.
- Their motorcycle is roadworthy and appropriately maintained.
- They wear appropriate motorcycle protective equipment.
- They comply with the Highway Code, road signs, speed limits and all applicable UK road traffic laws.
- They ride according to their own ability, experience and prevailing road/weather conditions.
- They do not ride while impaired by alcohol, drugs, medication, tiredness or any other condition that could adversely affect their ability to ride safely.
3. You Are Always Responsible for Your Own Riding
A Ride Leader, Road Captain, Marshal, organiser or another Throttle Tribe member may provide route information or general guidance.
However, instructions or guidance from another rider never override your personal responsibility for making safe and lawful riding decisions.
You must independently decide whether it is safe to overtake, turn, enter a junction, change lane, increase speed or perform any other manoeuvre.
Never blindly follow the rider in front.
If another rider crosses a junction or makes a manoeuvre, you must only follow when you have independently determined that it is safe and legal for you to do so.
4. No Pressure to Keep Up
Throttle Tribe does not encourage racing, competitive riding or exceeding speed limits.
Never ride beyond your ability simply to stay with the group.
If you become separated from the group, remain calm and continue riding safely and legally.
Where available, use the supplied route, navigation information or designated regrouping point.
No Man Left Behind means we look after one another. It does not mean compromising safety to stay together.
5. Group Riding
Participants should maintain an appropriate distance from other motorcycles and road users.
Where staggered formation is appropriate, riders should maintain sufficient space to react safely to changing road conditions.
Riders should avoid unsafe overtaking, sudden manoeuvres, unnecessary close riding or any behaviour that could endanger another participant or road user.
The Ride Leader or organiser may ask a rider to leave a group ride if their behaviour presents a significant safety concern to themselves or others.
6. Routes and Navigation
Routes, maps, GPX files, Google Maps links, meeting points, fuel stops and other navigation information supplied by Throttle Tribe are provided for general guidance.
Routes may change because of road closures, traffic, weather, accidents, construction, navigation errors or other circumstances.
Every rider remains responsible for their own navigation and for determining whether a particular road or route is safe and legally accessible.
7. Motorcycle Condition
Before joining a ride, participants should check the condition of their motorcycle, including tyres and tyre pressures, brakes, lights, indicators, mirrors, fluid levels, fuel and other safety-critical components.
Throttle Tribe organisers are not responsible for inspecting or certifying the roadworthiness of participants’ motorcycles.
8. Accidents, Injury, Loss or Damage
Motorcycling carries a risk of accident, personal injury, property damage and, in serious circumstances, death.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Throttle Tribe, its founder, administrators, organisers, Ride Leaders, Road Captains, Marshals and volunteers are not responsible for losses arising solely from the inherent risks of motorcycling or from a participant’s own acts, omissions, riding decisions or failure to comply with applicable law.
Nothing in this disclaimer is intended to exclude or restrict liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot legally be excluded for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Breakdown and Recovery
Every rider is responsible for arranging suitable breakdown and recovery cover where they consider it necessary.
Throttle Tribe members may voluntarily assist a rider experiencing mechanical difficulties, but neither the group nor individual members can guarantee roadside assistance, repair or recovery.
Where circumstances allow, we will make reasonable efforts to support a member experiencing difficulty — consistent with our motto:

10. Weather and Ride Changes
Motorcycle rides may be modified, postponed or cancelled because of severe weather, unsafe road conditions, low participation or other circumstances.
Even when an organised ride proceeds, each participant must make their own decision about whether conditions are appropriate for them to ride.
11. International & European Rides
For rides outside the United Kingdom, participants are individually responsible for checking and complying with applicable requirements, including driving licence requirements, motorcycle insurance, breakdown cover, travel documents, passports, visas where applicable, local traffic laws and any equipment legally required in the countries being visited.
Throttle Tribe may provide general information to assist members but does not guarantee that such information is complete or current.
12. Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their own motorcycles, helmets, riding equipment, luggage, phones, cameras and other personal property.
Throttle Tribe is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings except where liability arises under applicable law and cannot legally be excluded.
13. Emergency Situations
In an emergency, participants should prioritise personal safety and follow instructions from the police, ambulance service, fire and rescue services or other emergency authorities.
Where necessary, emergency services should be contacted using 999 or 112.
If a participant has voluntarily supplied emergency contact information to Throttle Tribe, an authorised organiser may use that information where reasonably necessary in connection with an emergency.
14. Photographs and Videos
Throttle Tribe rides and events may be photographed or filmed for community and promotional purposes, including publication on the Throttle Tribe website and social-media channels.
Any processing of personal information, including identifiable photographs or videos, will be handled in accordance with the Throttle Tribe Privacy Policy.
15. Acceptance of This Disclaimer
By voluntarily joining or participating in a Throttle Tribe ride, tour or event, participants acknowledge that:
- Motorcycling involves inherent risks.
- They remain responsible for their own riding decisions, motorcycle, insurance, legal compliance and personal safety.
- They agree to ride responsibly and respectfully towards other members and road users.
- They understand that participation in a group ride does not transfer responsibility for their riding decisions to Throttle Tribe or its organisers.
